Rick Stitzel arrangments and trumpet- Bill Tillman sax~Jack Cobb trombone~ Tim Ishii sax~ Jim Meyer trombone

Rick Stitzel is one of the most talented trumpet players and arrangers in the business. A graduate of North Texas University and a student of Jack Cobb, he has risin above the crowd with talent. Rick has been chosen by the Ft WORTH STOCK SHOW to be the director of the only live rodeo band in the country after Jack Cobb retired from there after 40 years -- it was a blessing to have them both play on this project and hope we have many more chances to work in the studio and on the live stage~ The things that he and his wife Denise do for the young people in music is overwhelming - a big Texas shout out to them both ~

Bill Tillman is one of the more colorful sax players of our time. His stint as a player reaches back to Blood Sweat and Tears, Saturday Night Live band and to0 many to mention-- his free wheeling style and old school tone is seen on "Cowtown Lady". Many thanks to him being on the project with us-- it won't be the last ~

Jack Cobb is the master! A long career that travels the globe with the Guy Lombardo Review, and he was the director of the Rodeo Band at Ft. Worth for 40 years. Looking back, I love the story of him playing on the Percy Sedge single "When a Man Loves a Woman", recorded in Birmingham in 1963. A great friend for many years and a inspiration to everyone that plays with him- Thanks Jack .
